Kevin was very special to Elaine and me from the first sesshin we attended 6 or 7 years ago to the most recent a few weeks ago, when he came in during an evening sitting walking slowly with his cane and friends in support. I’ll miss his humor and his dedication.

Apart from her move to London they seem to be anywhere and everywhere together. They’re being photographed so often now together at event where previously she used to be MIA that I can’t believe there are issues there…. that and he’s been off all season. There was no reason for him to start the season with such a negative attitude towards the Rafa Slam. I believe he’s beaten himself more than Djokovic has beaten him.
Che-cheh, nolar… just stumbled upon their pictures and the shorts look similar
Pt,
Pecas, hahaha… this shorts again proved to be very popular!Gilysse, thanks! I'll try to find out if Robredo has the same pair of shorts.
Yea I suspected there was more going on behind the scenes but I was suspecting trouble with his girlfriend! Hmmmm I hope he figures it out soon and gets back to winning slams because this has been hard to watch.
the correct thing. He said that last year he played the first semis on one day and Roger played the second semi the next day. That is the way it has always been. Look it up. As well, there is a heat policy in place. If the temperature gets to a certain point, they close the roof after the first set has been played. Previously, it was that if you commenced the match with the roof opened and it got hotter, you had to complete the match with the roof opened. They changed it after Sharapova almost melted in 2007 during her first round match. By the same token you will have fans of Svetlana saying that Serena got an unfair advantage after they closed the roof during her match. The organisers went by the established rules. Nadal has been cruising this tournament. He was the only player not to have dropped a set all tournament long. Roger played a 5 set match, and he played a tough 3 setter against Andy. It is unfortunate that Nadal had to play his 5 setter a couple days before the final, but no conspiracy here.
Interesting that the commies really questioned the umpire halting the match when he did (right after Stan finaly broke & Roger was serving). One of them pointed out that the court was still playable, so why was the match halted? The other pointed out that it was hard for Federer to serve with the rain in his face and anyway it would be good for him to get off the court as quickly as possible to regroup. The first guy responded with (I'm paraphrasing) "So what? The court is still playable, i.e. not dangerous and the conditions were the same for both players." Then he added: It’s not all just about Federer. So Federer gets preferential treatment, yet again. Already in this tournament he got seeded even though he was a wild card (and, of course, was in the other side of the draw from Murray).
